This mobile house can be located almost anywhere, the only thing is that you need to consider is a track to move it in. The advantage of being a manufactured house is that the construction time is considerably less than the traditional construction and the construction cost is lower.
The floor plan is a rectangular that interconnects spaces to create a sense of continuity and generosity inside the house. Each module consists of a bedroom, a bathroom, a living/dining room and a terrace with a barbeque area. The core corresponds to living room besides being a central space and the connection point with the second module. Opening the windows on the main façade allows you to connect with the surroundings and helps to maintain comfortable indoor climate. The covered terrace is an extension of the house to the outdoor area which houses a barbeque grill for use at any time of year.
The program is solved as a 15×3.6×2.9 meters volume, as the basis for accurate response to the optimization of space, equipment and maximum size of land transportation module, is adapted in size to be carried in its entirety. The maximum construction work will be done at the factory before the assembly work on a chosen site starts. The wiring will be channeled to the eye by means of rigid copper pipe, which gives it an industrial and contemporary look at the same time, fitted kitchen and a stainless steel bathroom are chosen for the same purpose, the reason is more functional than aesthetic thinking about future durability .
A choice between 4 different modules is available depending on the customer´s needs and the land on which it has to be assembled. A simple module A of 54m2 flat roof when doubled results in double module B of 108m2, keeping both versions adds pitched roof that allows to locate it in the south of Chile where rain is considerably bigger than in other areas. A simple module C of 54m2 and a doubled module D of 108m2, both with an attic at each end of the house and a loft space, designed for children or guests, leaving a double height in the middle of the volume that gives more space and light inside the house. A wide variety of houses is achieved by doing two simple operations: duplicating element and adding a pitched roof.
Wood is chosen as the main material for the structure because it gives a warm and simple appearance to the house. It is a self-supporting construction system that has timber walls, with the mineral wool inside the walls for better thermal insulation.
